Monitoring Insights is an AI-powered reporting feature within the Transition Readiness Toolkit (TRT) designed to help state administrators and program managers more quickly understand provider data.
Rather than manually reviewing dashboards, scores, and completion data across agencies, Monitoring Insights generates a structured report that highlights important trends, strengths, opportunities, and patterns within your data.
The goal is to help administrators move from simply reviewing data to more easily understanding what the data may be saying.
Monitoring Insights reports may include:
- High-level summaries of provider performance
- Areas where student growth appears strong
- Areas showing limited growth or concern
- Patterns in service delivery or evaluation completion
- Questions to guide monitoring conversations
- Potential opportunities for program improvement
These reports are designed to support monitoring, technical assistance, and data-informed decision making.
What Data Is Used?
Monitoring Insights currently uses:
- Progress Tool submissions
- Pre- and post-evaluation data
- Aggregate provider-level data
- Completion and growth trends
The reports do not currently use:
- Transition Planning Tool (TPT) data
- Student goals or interests
- IEP Builder content
- Instructional Ideas data
Reports are generated using submitted TRT data only.
How to Generate a Monitoring Insights Report
Generating a Monitoring Insights report is simple and typically takes only a few moments.
Step 1: Navigate to Monitoring Insights
From your TRT Home page, click 'Monitoring Insights' in the left side menu. You can also access the page here: https://trt.avihumanservices.org/monitoring
Step 2: Select Your Filters
Depending on your permissions and system setup, you may be able to:
- Select a provider or agency
- Choose a date range
- Filter by reporting period
Applying filters allows the report to focus on a specific set of provider data.
Step 3: Generate the Report
Click the Generate AI Report button.
The TRT will begin analyzing available Progress Tool data and preparing the report.
Step 4: Wait for Processing
Reports may take a short time to generate depending on:
- Amount of available data
- Number of evaluations included
- Current system activity
Step 5: Review the Report
Once complete, the report will display directly on the page.
