Administration Methods for TRT Assessments

Providers have multiple methods to connect their students with the Transition Readiness Toolkit (TRT) assessments. Here are the different administration methods available:

  1. On the Provider's Device:
    • Usage: Ideal for one-on-one sessions.
    • Process:
      • The provider logs into their TRT account on their device.
      • From the home page, the provider clicks on the name of the desired assessment.
      • The provider enters the student's participant ID.
      • The student completes the assessment directly on the provider's device.
  2. By Creating an Access Code:
    • Usage: Suitable for both group and one-on-one settings.
    • Process:
      • The provider generates a unique access code for the assessment.
      • Students can use this access code to access the assessment on their own devices by going to gotrt.app.
      • This method allows for flexibility in administering the assessment to multiple students simultaneously or individually.
  3. Student-Specific Links:
    • Usage: Best for individual assessments.
    • Process:
      • The provider generates a unique link embedded with the student's participant ID.
      • This link is sent to the student, who can then access and complete the assessment on their own device.
      • The link is for one-time use and expires after the assessment is completed.
  4. Paper and Pencil Versions:
    • Usage: Suitable for settings without reliable internet access or when a digital device is unavailable.
    • Process:
      • The provider downloads and prints the assessment tools.
      • Students complete the assessments on paper.
      • Assessments can be downloaded with or without face icons, which help students with low reading ability or cognitive impairments.
      • An Other-guided Assessment tool is available that phrases the questions in a conversational manner.
      • Additionally, a large face icon tool can be printed to assist students in responding.
  5. TRT App (Coming late 2024)

These methods allow providers to efficiently administer assessments in various settings, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to participate.
